A naturally processed coffee that encapsulates the heart of Colombian coffee culture. Produced on Luis Saldarriaga’s family farm in Ciudad Bolivar, Antioquia, this coffee is the result of a long-standing partnership with Juan Saldarriaga, who took over his family’s farms in 2012. Renowned for its winey and sweet profile with complex notes of red fruit, prunes, and flowers, El Encanto #1 is grown in a region ideal for coffee due to its range of altitudes and rich biodiversity
The coffee is processed using innovative techniques to enhance its unique flavors, including careful hand sorting and advanced drying methods to combat the high humidity of Antioquia. Our team visited El Encanto in 2019, immersing ourselves in the local coffee culture and learning directly from the producers, a testament to our commitment to fostering close relationships with our partners.
