AA Kangocho is grown in the Nyeri region of Kenya and comes from the Gikanda Farmers Cooperative Society, located on the slopes of Mount Kenya. The area is favored by volcanic soils rich in minerals, constant rainfall and high altitudes (1600-1800 m), providing the perfect environment for the production of quality coffee. The factory serves over 1,300 smallholder farmers who grow coffee with special care.
Coffee goes through the process of washing, where ripe fruits are collected, peeled and fermented for 12 hours. Then it is washed and separated according to density. The coffee is dried for about 14 days in raised beds under the Kenyan sun, ensuring a clean, structured and vibrant profile.
